Dublin Head Shop set abalze + €500,000 Discovered Under The Floor Boards

Mental, the cause of the fire is still unknown. Id say the recent fire head shops have suffered from the general public, may have something to do with it. Personally I dont mind 'head shops' some of my good friends work for the Galway branches. I think shutting them down would be the lazy way for the government to deal with the disagreements over them, regulation is the key but would obviously cost the powers that be money. Still though they found half a million under the floor in this shop, which would suggest something a little more sinister is going on than good honest trading.

Check it out:

Kuedo (Jamie VEX'D)

Jamie VEX'D ventures into the world of wonkey hip hop or whatever. This EP is off the hook, its brilliant to see his talents transfered into this production style. Starfox stands out the most to me, its gonna sound huge on a system. Thanks to Noid The Droid for pointing me in the direction of this.

Posts will be fairly thin this week while I fight off flu and a wisdom tooth that wont fuck off. I did come across this excellent mix from Autechre on my cyber travels, which I suppose they have put together to promote interest in their up coming "Oversteps" album. Interview Session 1 : Untold / JazzSteppa

So with another weekend under our belts we regroup and soldier on into this week with the prospect that we can do it all over again in five days.

Recipe on Friday night was a huge success I am told, I couldn't go, gutted. Oisin managed to fill the venue and all who attended were happy out bopping around upstairs in Nimmos to minimal techno. I'm looking forward to the next installment hopefully coming soon!
I did manage to go out on Saturday, which was eventful to say the least! KidKongo of DATA dished up some nice tunes in the Roisin and threw a great party afterwards that continued until the early hours. Expect to catch him again upstairs in the Roisin either this Saturday or the following, Il let you know soon when I find out for definite when he is playing next.

Ian Dunne Aka. MetroGnome from DubCulture and Galway radio station Flirt FM caught up with Jazzsteppa and Untold for two cracking interviews. Check them on the DubCulture SoundCloud or here below:

Absense - Good Love (EchoDub)

Good Love  by  Absense

I cant get enough of what Echodub.co.uk are pushing. This one was in a label showcase mix, its up on their homepage. I love the way the hats and snares weave their way around each other.

Untold and Jazzsteppa interviews coming up !! (editing done by this eve).
